We live in YAKUSHIMA of a world natural heritage. We like nature very much. DAIZEN was born in MIE Pref. KAORI was born in NIIGATA Pref. We lived in SAITAMA Pref. before coming here. We transmigrated to YAKUSHIMA in November, 1996, aiming at the life of self-sufficiency. DAIZEN's mother "SHINOBU" transmigrated to YAKUSHIMA from TOKYO in April, 1999. From the spring of 2000 to summer, DAIZEN's nephew "SEIYA" was transmigrating to YAKUSHIMA from TOKYO. And he returned to TOKYO which his mother REI lives in summer. However, he also returned to YAKUSHIMA In December, 2000. This time, he came to YAKUSHIMA with his mother REI. He was worrying to an allergy, before. However, his allergy became good completely, with some opportunity. Our family is 4 people (SEIYA and REI are a different family). Also we are raising 3 dogs and 1 cat. There was a horse from the spring of 1997 to autumn.

We live in the rented house at present. The house is about 100 years after being built. Our house is completed soon. The periphery of the housing lot is the farm where the local people were making PONKAN and TANKAN (a kind of a orange). However, monkeys ate a lot of oranges more than harvest quantity. Therefore, everybody gave up. The housing lot and periphery of it are returning to the natural forest. We borrow such a place from the nature only a little and be building our house. We felled trees and used as fuel, and also we used it as such a log that grows a SHIITAKE (mushroom).
